Today, I started singing the ABC song all by myself. I just started singing it. I know all of my letters, except I always leave out the letter S. How silly is that?!
In the tubbie tonight, I pointed to Mommy's boobs. I asked what they were. She told me that they were her boobs. I pointed to my own and said, "I have little boots." I am such a silly-pants!!

ICE CREAM!! :0)
Tuesday, April 19, 2005
Today, you had your first ice cream cone from Dairy Queen. I know, it's been two whole year before that tasty experience, and you loved it. It was a baby sized cherry dipped cone. We failed to put a bib on you and boy did you make a mess!!
Oh, you got a new Pope today, Pope Benedict XVI.

Lucky!
Monday, April 18, 2005
You had a pretty good day today. Mommy got off of work early today. We went shopping at Michaels and then had to pick Auntie Julie up from work. Dave taught you to say, "I caught you a delicious bass, Lucky!" from Napolean Dynamite. You called me at work and told it to me over the phone. It was pretty silly!
You got mad at Daddy tonight and told him that it hurt your feelings. You also told Mommy you had to sit on the potty. You didn't go, but you tried.

Mommy's Little Stinker
Saturday, April 16, 2005
We were supposed to have pictures taken today. We decided to have a family picture in addition to your two year pictures because I wasn't happy with the way our Christmas pictures turned out. You had other ideas! When we got to Sadies, you wanted nothing to do with the camera. Every time we tried you cried. Mommy got very frustrated. The photographer that we had wasn't the nicest. She kept complaining because we were waisting time. She wanted us to re-schedule and didn't want to put any effort into getting you happy for your pictures. Little stinker. We'll try again in a couple of weeks...and you looked so cute today!

My visit to the doctors...
Monday, April 11, 2005
Today you went the doctor's for your two year check-up. We switched to the Staub Pediatric Clinic. You saw Dr. Waller. We got right in at our appointment time. The nurse asked us a bunch of questions, and not ten minutes later, Dr Waller was knocking at the door. You instantly took a liking to her. She spent about 45 minutes with us. She asked us a bunch of questions, and talked to you. She thought you were pretty funny. You kept saying, "Hi Dr. Waller! I'm real healthy!" She examined you and talked to you and the two of you colored on the exam table paper. I think it was one of your best doctors appointments yet! When she looked in your ears, she said she saw kitties and that they say Meow. You thought that was preety silly. You had to have your finger pricked for blood. She cried for two seconds when they pricked it and then you actually watched them drop blood from your finger into the little vial. You were braver than Mommy ever was! You cried the most when they put the bandaid on. How silly is that!

My little songstress
Saturday, April 09, 2005
I think I say this a lot, but you never cease to amaze me. You started to sign a few new songs in the past couple of weeks. A couple of your favorites: Put Down the Duckie (If you want to play the saxophone), Rubber Duckie (You're the one, you make bath time lots of fun - You sing this very animated-ly), Abby's world (Your own rendition of Elmo's world...Abby loves her blankie, her turtle too! That's Abby's world!) and last but not least, the Sesame Street Theme Song (Sunny days, sweeping the clouds away). You are getting SO big. I can't hardly believe it.
You go to the doctor's on Monday for your two year check-up. You are convinced that Dr. Waawer (Waller) is going to give you crayons. This will be your first visit to her and to this clinic. I hope you like her. We have been talking a lot about it. You talk about how she is going to look in your ears and listen to your heart.
I am considering taking some online Medical Transcription courses and working from home. I miss you so much while I am at work. My manager isn't so nice and I am just tired of it. I feel like I am missing out on so much. If this works out, I would be able to volunteer with your class when you start nursery school next year. Right now that would never be an option.
I think you may have some seasonal allergies. It has been so nice outside, and you have started sneezing like crazy...ad you show no signs of a cold.
