A bunch of fussy butts!
Why is it that when one is crabby and whiney, they both need to be crabby and whiney?! It's been a long couple of days! Both Abby and Emma have required a lot of attention. Mommy needs a break! I think it's Daddy's night to hang out with the girls. I am going to take a nice long, hot bath and chill!
I am taking the girls downtown tomorrow for lunch with some of my coworkers. Should be an adventure!

Abby update...finally!!

So it's been a little while since we've posted. Oops!
Miss Abby is a three year old. She's really grown and matured a lot since Emma was born. She is also still highly dramatic. She will get upset and start crying. You ask why she's crying and through the tears she says, "I don't know. I'm just being dramatic." Silly little girl. Her potty training is finally going great. She's pretty self sufficient and has had very few accidents since Emma's arrival. The downside of having a pottying girl...she insists on checking out the bathroom where ever we may go. That gets a little old after awhile. It takes three times as long when you're towing two around. And half the time, she sits on the potty and says she doesn't have to go. Grr. Abby has quite the vivid imagination and loves to make-believe she is a mommy.
This past Friday we took the girls to Minnehaha Falls for a walk. Abby thought it was the coolest thing ever. She loved the falls. Her listening ears weren't on very good though. She was running away from Daddy and wiped out. Her knee is bruised and she has a nasty little scrape on her elbow. I guess you learn the hard way.
We spent the rest of the weekend shopping for a new couch and loveseat. I think Abby has had her share of furniture stores for awhile. Three days in a bunch of different stores. She's done. She did enjoy the cookies at HOM Furniture though (on two different occasions). We did find a couch. We decided to get a sectional. I am pretty excited. We opted for a piece they call a cuddler. It's this big oversized chaise/chair piece that is SO cozy. Prefect place for reading bedtime stories to the girls. We should have it in 8-10 weeks.
